Selamat Datang di Indonesia, welcome to Indonesia! Indonesia has about 17,500 islands and more than 300 tribes and 700 languages, it is a country well worth a visit! With a mixture of tribes, cultures, tradition and friendly smiley people you will feel very welcomed to be in Indonesia! We would like to introduce you to Java, one of the main islands in this fascinating archipelago! It is one of the biggest islands in Indonesia and home to the capital city of Jakarta! It’s has about 132,107km of coastline and it measures 1,160km in length! There will be lots things you can find and see during you’re time here! From the cities to the villages, from the beaches to the mountains and from rice fields to the coffee, coco and rubber plantations! With diverse flora and fauna, it’s sure to be an eye opening experience for all! As Java is long island our preferred style of transport is by train as much as possible! This way you feel you become a real part of Indonesian life. You will experience Java train travel across Java with all classes. Executive, Business and economy creating a unique java train travel experience of this stunning island.
Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia! You will find just how busy Jakarta is! There is no plan here in Jakarta, you could check in at any time but if possible check in at joining hotel not too late! If you arrive earlier in Jakarta or if you have time, there are some places worth to visit: Monas ( Monument Nasional ), Sunda Kelapa Harbor ( The traditional Penisi boat ), Museum Wayang ( Puppet Museum ), National Museum. We leave Jakarta at 7.30am for Bandung by Java train this takes 3.5 hours. Take in the beautiful landscape and rice terrace along the way!
Bandung is another big city and it is capital city of West Java province! Famous with old buildings from Dutch colonial times, textile and also traditional Indonesian bamboo music Angklung! Hotel: One night

This is one of the longest travel days we will have! Leaving at 7am for the train station it will take approximately 5-7 hours to Sidareja which is the nearest Java train station to Pangandaran! Then it will take another 1.5-2 hours by mini van to Pangandaran.
Pangandaran is located in Pananjung peninsula on the Indian Ocean! An old fishing port it has 2 beaches east and west with a mixture of black and white sandy beaches! There is also a national park which we will explore with the help of our local guides. With their experience we will be able to get close to the varied wildlife at this beautiful spot. This area is also famous for it’s breathtaking sunsets and beautiful sunrises where you can watch the fisherman at work. We will explore the countryside as well as home industries including Krupuk making, palm sugar production and wayang puppet making. We will also visit the Green Canyon with it’s lush cool waters where you can swim, and for the more adventurous dive from the rocks.! Then after Green Canyon, we head of to the beach at Batu Karas for lunch and in our free time we could have another swim or sun bath or even try to learn how to surf! Hotel Two nights

Yogyakarta or Yogya as the local people call it is a very special province in Indonesia. It is unique in that the people are still lead by the Sultan! Yogya is the heart of the Javanese culture and also the main student city. The history of Yogya is recorded from the 9th century when the Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms peacefully coexisted. It is home to the biggest Buddhist temple in the world, the magnificent Borobudur. There are many Hindu temples that we could enjoy the most stunning at sunset is the Prambanan temple. This temple can’t be missed when you are in Yogya! Shopping for Batik and silver, this is just the right place to find them! Hotel : Three nights
Bromo volcano is one of the most popular volcanoes in Indonesia to visit! Elevation 2.392 meters in the middle of Tengger mountain! It is an active volcano! We start early in the morning to catch the sunrise at the view point! We will then go by jeep to where we will witness the lovely sunrise with Bromo in view! We will walk through the sea sand and climb the rim of Bromo to see the crater!. Hotel: One night

Another long day, especially after an early start in Bromo! Kalibaru is just little town where we will see the plantation of coco, coffee and rubber! Our guide will show you all the plantation there and include a visit to a friendly environmental factory that makes raw rubber before they export to another country! After an easy walk, we will be welcomed with tea or coffee and also fried banana or cassava ( Tapioca ). Hotel: One night

Sukamade located in Meru Betiri National Park! We will be driving from Kalibaru by four wheel driver, it will take approximately 4-5 hours! We will be adventuring in Meru Betiri National Park to see some wildlife and mostly we will be “hunting” turtles with a camera at night time to see them laying egg’s on the beach! Basic home stay: one night

Ketapang is the nearest harbor to cross to Bali. We stay here momentarily before we climb Ijen crater early the next morning ! Ijen volcano complex is group of stratovolcanoes in east Java,which is about 20km wide! The largest concentration of post-caldera cones! From an east/west –trending zone across the southern side of caldera. The active crater at Ijen has an equivalent radius of 361 meters and its about 200 meters depth!
Local people here are very famous for sulfur mining! The track to Ijen will take aprox 1.5-2 hours hike! And if lucky, we might be able to see what we call “Blue fire” ! Fire coming from the crater! Hotel: One night

Across to Bali after we climb the Ijen! We will be staying in Pamuteran village! Nothing planed here! Time to relax after all the adventures in Java! But the 2nd day in this place, we will take you to the best place in Bali for snorkeling . Menjangan island national park! The spectacular underwater world shouldn’t be missed!! We could see life coral, such table and fan coral and also many kind of fish! Hotel: Two nights

We will assistant you with the transportation to go anywhere in Bali, for example Ubud, Lovina, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Sanur or airport! Or any places you would like to spend some more time in Bali!
